outreach organization based
in Lakewood, NJ.
For more than two decades,
Oorah has been helping Jewish
families connect to their
heritage.
Most of our volunteers are
young rabbinical students
who are eager to share and
teach what they’ve
learned. They are available
teach Jewish subjects to
you, your family and friends
right
in your own home at absolutely
no charge.
Besides
at-home adult education,
Oorah offers a wide array
of programs for children.
One of our primary activities
is helping parents to place
their children in Jewish
day schools.
We offer assistance in finding
the right school, enrollment
procedures and tuition assistance.
We also help children making
the transition from public
school to day school, providing
tutoring, homework help,
after-school enrichment
and more.
Oorah
